Englannin adjektiivit vaativat usein tietyn preposition, eikä prepositio ole arvattavissa suomen kautta. Tämä artikkeli kokoaa yleisimmät adjektiivi + prepositio -parit yhdeksi muistilistaksi.

"Hän on kiinnostunut historiasta." Suomenkielinen valitsee helposti of-preposition, koska -sta-pääte tuntuu siltä. Oikea muoto on kuitenkin interested in history. Adjektiiveille on omat vakiintuneet prepositionsa, ja ne kannattaa opetella pareina.
